Individual Calibration Weights
Sartorius Certified Calibration Weights:
- NVLAP-accredited metrology lab
- Meets or exceeds all ASTM Standards
- 1 mg to 5 kg calibration masses
- Corrosion-resistant stainless steel
- Custom weight sets available (phone 1-800-832-0055 for information)
Sartorius Calibration Weights are sold individually or as a 9-piece or 21-piece set with a Report of Traceabililty, and, for an additional nominal fee, with a certificate of Calibration.
Certificate of Calibration - The Certificate of Calibration report includes the nominal value and the conventional mass correction value for each weight certified. It also lists information on the standards the weights were compared against, including:
- Identifying number
- NIST test number
- Date the standards were last calibrated
- NVLAP laboratory code
Report of Traceability - At no additional cost, each Sartorius weight or weight set is supplied with a Report of Traceability. This report identifies:
- Tolerance class
- Type of construction
- NIST test number
- Date of applicable Sartorius primary standard(s)
- Secondary set number
- Includes technician's signature
Table of Weight Tolerances
Metric Weight Tolerances
The table below is a listing of the tolerances of various classes of masses. The weight value can deviate above or
below the nominal value by the tolerance defined. To determine the tolerance of a mass, look at the denomination
or nominal value of the weight and the appropriate class you need.
Available Classes: Class 0 - Class 1 - Class 2 - Class E1 - Class E2
